Abstract Submission

Guidelines for abstract preparation

Abstracts may be reformatted to be included in the Abstract Book; however, the following guidelines must be followed carefully:

  1. Type the title of abstract in CAPITAL LETTERS. Titles should not exceed 70 characters, if at all possible.
  1. The name(s) of the author(s), the institution(s) and the country(ies) should be given below the title. Authors’ initials should precede surnames. Underline the presenting author’s name. Do not include degrees or professional titles.
  1. Leave one blank line between the title/author block and the body of the abstract. The text should not exceed 300words; however, the content should adequately reflect the purpose and the methods used.
  1. Abstracts should be typed single-spaced, with no spacing between paragraphs.
  1. When using abbreviations, use the term in full in the text, when first mentioning it, followed by the abbreviation in parentheses.
  1. Do not include graphics.
  1. Proof-read your text carefully before submitting it. All abstracts accepted for inclusion in the scientific program will appear in the Book of Abstracts exactly as they will have been submitted.
